The Virginia Advanced Victim Assistance Academy (VAVAA) is a two-and-a-half day training for victim services providers who have a minimum of five years of experience providing direct services to crime victims or three years of direct services following successful completion of the Virginia Basic Victim Assistance Academy.

This advanced training will provide an opportunity to explore topics related to victim assistance in greater depth, to network with colleagues and other allied professionals, and to provide a forum for discussion of lessons learned from years of experience working with victims of crime in Virginia.
